AV Project Manager – Hybrid working
  • Do you have an excellent understanding of Microsoft Teams Rooms?

  • Are you ready to get involved in all aspects of a specialist role, including pre-sales, project management, quality assurance, training and handover?

  • Are you geekily interested in hybrid meetings, specifically MS Teams Rooms devices and how to get the most out of them?

Well, what are you waiting for then? You’ve found your perfect role!

Seriously, if you can tick those boxes then you should definitely read on.

What other boxes do I need to tick?

You’ll need to:

  • have knowledge of audio-visual installs and the ability to capture requirements via detailed on-site surveys;

  • have project management experience;

  • have experience of delivering training in a range of formats;

  • be experienced in managing installation teams to achieve a high-quality result;

  • be confident and articulate – able to translate tech into normal speech!

  • be willing to undertake training and achieve qualifications;

  • be comfortable working remotely and in a “video first” business;

  • understand that as part of a small business, you’ll wear different hats at times, enabling you and the company to grow;

  • have a UK driving licence as this role requires travel to customer sites.

Ok, I’m still here. What does the role involve?

As a Microsoft Teams Rooms Specialist you will:

  • Be engaged in pre-sales activity alongside our sales and technical teams. This will involve understanding customer requirements (including on-site surveys), communicating solutions, liaison with vendors, and supporting the sales process.

  • Be the single point of contact for the customer, manage procurement of all equipment, and organise and coordinate installation activities.

  • Recruit a network of high-quality and reliable AV installers to manage UK-wide installations.

  • Quality assure installs to a high-degree of customer satisfaction.

  • Deliver on-site and remote training to a range of customer stakeholders.

  • Manage customer communications throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Produce installation documentation and manage handover pack.

  • Be involved with the development of an increasing range of related products and services.

What about the future?

This role is key to future business growth and therefore you will have the opportunity, not only to make the role your own when you join but also to grow it in the future. That could mean that you’ll end up bossing it (literally) by leading a team of people and reaching senior level in the business.

Sounds good. What else can you tell me about Purify?

We focus on the real needs of people and understanding their current frustrations, providing solutions that allow organisations to thrive in modern hybrid working environments. As Microsoft Teams specialists and Microsoft Gold Partners, we help maximise our clients’ existing investment to improve communication, collaboration and productivity.

A highly successful company, we work with clients who trust us, like us, and appreciate how we do things. We have some big names on the books and although currently small (but mighty!), we’re looking to grow significantly over the next couple of years and this role is key to helping us to do that.

Oh and when we say we work flexibly, we mean it’s truly in our business DNA. We were doing hybrid way before hybrid was cool.

Let's talk cash

Initially, this will be a £35k - £45k role, but think longer term. As the role grows, you can expect your salary to do so too.

What do I do now?

Please send your brilliant CV to hello@purify-tech.co.uk. If you look like the right person for us, we'll get in touch about next steps which will involve seeing your lovely face on camera!
